Permanent opportunity for a Technical Support Officer to join a growing company within the solar industry.
Your new company
This company is a growing, commercial business within the Energy sector that specialises in solar. Due to growth, they are requiring additional support within their technical team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your position will require you to liaise between customers, the sales and the marketing team on technical matters. You will be responsible for determining the suitability of new products and systems, developing an in-depth knowledge of the company's product offering. You will assist in finding ways that technical product information can be best marketed and communicated to customers. Also, you will be responsible for responding to technical enquiries around products coming from both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to be successful in this position, you will require the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience working technically with Electrical Engineering products or tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to be an approachable point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
- Capable of working to KPI's based on customer satisfaction of tech support and assistance with Sales team to achieve annual budgets
