Dawson's have an opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Instrumentation Technician to join their electrical maintenance team at a mine site West of Townsville.
You will carry out planned and breakdown maintenance activities on fixed plant equipment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: preventative, emergency and predictive routine maintenance tasks, fault analysis, calibrations, repair equipment failure and resolve maintenance concerns to ensure maximum productivity.
The Successful Applicant must have:
- Dual Trade Certification in Electrical & Instrumentation (Cert III in Instrumentation desirable)
- A minimum of 5 years Instrumentation Experience
- Previous hazardous gas plant / high risk experience
- Demonstrated experience with scoping instrumentation / electrical works, distributed control systems and critical function testing
- High Voltage Certification advantageous
- Experience with SAP highly advantageous
- Previous experience in a maintenance role
Regional candidates may apply, but would need to mobilise to Townsville at their own expense for charter flights.
You must have or be willing to obtain Nationally Accredited Confined Space, Working at Heights, CPR & LVR and a pre-employment medical within 12 months.
