Who are we? 

GEOVERT is a leading provider of innovative solutions in both ground engineering & asset maintenance. We are currently completing site wide rope access asset integrity maintenance services at the Yarwun Refinery managed by our Gladstone regional office. The scope of works includes inspections and maintenance of plant and pressure equipment including NDT services, in-service pressure equipment inspection, fabrication and structural repairs.Additional to this the company undertake a variety of shutdown work around the operation.

The role of Site Manager is to lead and coordinate all aspects of Maintenance and ancillary works including Rope Access & Inspection Works whilst providing professional instruction and guidance to the technicians onsite.

Key responsibilities of this position:

• Manage all aspects of the maintenance contract. This includes procurement of equipment and materials, organisation of teams, organisation of all elements of administration, personnel management, development of work instructions for the site, Quality assurance of the works, HSE and problem solving on-site etc.
   
• Full understanding of program and time constraints, resource consents, quality assurance etc.
   
• Production-planning supervision, preparing production schedules to meet the requirements of the client
   
• Ensure stakeholders fully up to date of production status, and that work planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated. 
   
• Ability to work with Senior Management to identitify potential opportunities for growth. 
   
• Capability to manage and provide training and guidance to all employees on site regarding specific techniques used as well as the plant and equiptment. 

Your Capability
To successfully perform in this role, you will possess:

• Tertiary qualified in mechanical engineering or recognised mechanical trade skill.

• Demonstrated leadership & influencing skills, with the ability to work in a team environment

• Minimum 7 years' experience working in asset maintenance industry (with rope access experience desirable).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Organisational & investigative skills. Computer skills & knowledge for the role.

• Well organised with strong verbal and written communication skills Strong commercial understanding, with a high level of forward thinking and analysis

• Excellent time management and prioritising Strong attention to detail

• Strong commitment to HSEQ principles Exceptional knowledge of the asset maintenance industry, best practice, techniques and standards

• Willingness to undertake regional business development to grow scope on site and in the surrounding area.

• Valid Open Australian Drivers Licence
