What would my position involve?  
We're looking for someone who loves Buying and is not just a great category selector but loves numbers and analytics. As a Women's Fashion Buyer, you will be working closely with the directors and a buying team of 12 and will be accountable for the successful seasonal buying for the footwear, jackets and swimwear range that will have outstanding sell through while following the direction of the brand image.

• Must have experience as a womens fashion buyer, deally with footwear knowledge
• Great data anaylsis skills...this is very much a numbers / data centric role
• Great communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently
• Know and love our brand & product

• Australian or permanent resident status
• Must have reliable transport

 
Your role will include the following.

• Plan and select the range - quality and quantity of product according to customer demand, trends and brand policies
• Set prices and sell through targets in conjunction with directors to ensure they are in line with the budget
• As this is a heavy data analytics role, you will be expected to analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands to formulate a buying practice in line with consumer/ online store demands
• Negotiate with new suppliers on product pricing, payment terms, cost of freight and the extent of their involvement in advertising and promotions
• Review buying feedback reports and provide recommendations to the directors as to buying strategy for a respective brand/collection
