We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager who has a passion for people, the Jo Mercer brand and providing a great customer experience. To be successful in this role, you must be motivated by driving sales and managing a team to deliver excellence. You will provide your team with training to further their individual growth and maximise your stores performance.

This role will work closely with the Store Manager in leading the team and supporting end to end store operations with your responsibilities including customer service, achieving sales budgets, visual merchandising, stock control, rostering and reporting just to name a few.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following:

  • Minimum two years' retail experience as a full-time sales executive and ready for your next move, or previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager of a fashion brand or homewares
  • Excellent sales skills and previous experience meeting & exceeding store budgets/KPI's
  • Excellent communication
  • An abundance of energy, positivity and an ability to motivate others
  • A passion for retail and providing a memorable customer experience  
  • Strong leadership and management skills - previous experience managing a team would be advantageous
  • Recruitment and training skills
