This well-established, successful national Co. is a leader in the DIY market, supplying leading brands to some of the biggest retail outlets across Australasia! An exciting position has become available for someone with entry level Product Management experience keen take the next step!
Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing products, identifying trends and managing business relationships. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing relevant products and working with manufacturers to bring those products to market
- Conducting ongoing market research to understand short and long-term trends, identifying suitable products to meet trends
- Gain an extensive knowledge of the Product Industry standards and keep abreast of any changes within the industry
- Manage supplier and manufacturer relationships (many overseas based) to ensure solid partnerships
- Gain an in depth understanding of the technical side of the products
- Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from customers and end users
Ideally, you will bring:
- A good eye for identifying market trends
- Previous product sourcing experience
- Experience in the DIY, Industrial Product, Retail, Hardware or FMCG products is highly desirable
- Availability for regular overseas travel
