Position Description

Reporting directly to the Supermarket Manager, the Supermarket Dairy / Freezer Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Providing exemplary customer service, including responding to customer enquiries and requests
• Management of the Dairy / Freezer department, and associated sub-departments
• Staff management, training, and rostering
• Stock presentation and merchandising, including code checking, and regular rotation of stock
• Ordering stock (warehouse and direct from suppliers)
• Adhering to allocated budget forecasts for wages, sales, and gross profit
• Compliance with all relevant Trade Measurement, Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation
• Uphold and obey all of Le Max Group's Policies & Procedures
• Any other tasks as required by the Supermarket Manager and Le Max Group Management

Your Profile

• Previous supermarket or retail experience essential (supermarket preferred)
• Previous Management experience advantageous
• Customer focused
• Highly organised and efficient
• Strong work ethic
• Proactive and highly motivated
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Weekend availability (available at least one day on the weekend)
• Pristine personal appearance and uniform standards
