About Us
Based in Queensland's largest homemaker centre, Domain Central, Elle J is Townsville's only locally owned maternity and baby boutique.
Established in 2009, we are proud to supply gorgeous maternity and baby fashion, accessories and gifts to the mums, mums-to-be and families of North Queensland.
We also design and manufacture our own children's fashion ranges.
Although we are a busy store, we have loads of fun with our customers and within our team. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional customer experience and it is truely a special time being able to be a part of so many special families milestones.
About the role
As a sales assistant you are the face of our business, so we are looking for a motivated, fun, warm, friendly and confident person as we take our business to the next level. You must love working with expecting and new mums and gorgeous babies and kids too!
Reporting to the Store Manager, your role is to provide all our customers an exceptional experience while in-store, by assisting them with the selection and purchase of items to suit their needs.
Day to Day duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting customers with product selection and styling advice.
- Unpacking stock and preparing it for merchandising
- Assisting with the creation of merchandising displays and keeping them neat, tidy and re-stocked.
- Packing online customer orders
- Responding to customer enquiries via email and social media
- Keeping the store clean and tidy
- Working as a team to meet business targets and objectives
- Representing the business at various industry events and pop-up stores.
