About the business and the role
The role objectives are to provide luxury service with a key focus on the Dior make-up Axis. Driving sales, daily bookings and events on counter within multi-brand environment.
Demonstrate the current make-up trends, high level make-up skills, Dior make-up products and brand point of differences to secure sales and clients.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Sales
- Increase total make-up sales at counter and when eventing
- Achieve Make-up Artist KPI benchmarks in accordance with event type
Make-up Application
- Dior make-up stardards adhered to demonstrate the Make Me Beautiful Advanced Corrective Make-up Techniques methods with every make-up
- Use and maintain your Dior brush set on counter
- Apply Dior service and selling method with every customer
- Maintain strict hygiene standards as per your Dior induction manual
- Attend Make-up Me Beautiful 2-day training and complete Dior Make-up Accreditation
- Acquire (Through the Dior training) and maintain a leading edge knowledge of fashion and make-up trends.
- Make-up demonstrated on counter and worn on itself reflects the current trends
- Update knowledge on products, trends and application on an ongoing basis
Bookings
- Raise brand profile when in store
- Actively recruit new customers
- Drive and make bookings for make-up events in store
Skills and experience
- Qualified in a related discipline
- Ideally similar work experience for a minimum of 1-2 years
- Experience working with must have strong KPIs
- Experience in booking and carrying out on counter events
- Professional presentation, with make-up demonstrated on counter and worn on self, reflecting the current trends
- Punctual and reliable with time management
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team
- Appreciation and knowledge of luxury retail
- Independent highly motivated fast learner
- Able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Highly developed interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment dependent on task
- Completed a certificate/diploma on Make-up course/Beauty Therapy
- Must be punctual, flexible, hard worker, passionate and dedicated to work
- Must have Retail experience in Cosmetics
- Mandarin speaking is highly advantage
All successful candidates will be required to work 20 to 25 hours per week, which includes weekends and late night shopping.
