Our client was established over 20 years ago and has always been at the forefront of footwear in Australia. They offer a carefully curated selection from the best brands all over the world in their modern, fun, vibrant stores! Think shoes as investment art pieces!
Your team will walk and talk sneakers, you need to know your air max from your free runs and everything in between. Your customer could range from someone seeking a timeless classic to a real sneaker head chasing a premium short run release.
This opportunity is unique and will suit someone passionate about both footwear and progressing their retail career. Reporting to the Area Manager who is a unique and successful individual within the group, you will collaborate with them to implement an exciting and motivating culture that focuses on team work and team success. This is a "A GRADE STORE" opportunity and you will take responsibility for store performance and the implementation of the brands training and development programs. You will live and breathe high end footwear, be a walking, talking ambassador for the brand and create an environment of pride in which you work for you and your team. You will use your experience to date to deliver initiatives that will ensure customer and staff experience is the best it can be day in day out!
To be successful in your application you will need:
- Minimum 2 years retail management experience
- Strong experience in a high volume retail environment (min $1.5 mill t/o)
- Dedicated to a strong team culture and motivation to lead by example
- Ability to nurture and develop other staff to bring out the best in them
- Strong visual merchandising skills
- Open communication skills and able to build rapport easily and effectively with a range of people
- An interest in luxury sneakers and high end limited edition footwear
- Proven background achieving KPIs and sales targets
- Experience of inventory management
- Experience in overseeing security and loss prevention
