Supply Planning Manager - Liquor  

Leading our team of Supply Planning Specialists and Integrated Supply Planners, the Supply Planning Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of perfect replenishment plans through facilitating the smooth supply of goods from supplier to Distribution Centres supporting our diverse Liquor portfolio.

About The Role

Reporting directly into the Head of Supply Planning - Liquor, the key responsibilities of this role will include, however not be limited to:
 

• Evaluating and reviewing long term and short term replenishment planning for effectiveness in balancing availability, inventory and cost

• Overseeing the performance management and development of suppliers and products which are distributed to Liquor Stores.

• Monitoring the creation and completion of supplier plans related to improving performance.

• Fostering partnerships with all external and internal stakeholders to promote trust within the end to end replenishment process and increase awareness of the value proposition of the replenishment team.

• Managing a large team of both Supply Planers and Integrated Supply Planners.

• Developing talent within the Replenishment Team, through the creation of employee training plans.

• Understanding and evaluating current processes end to end, with the ability to improve and execute.

To be successful you will demonstrate experience in a similar role, while possessing the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated ability to write, speak, and present clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings by translating and articulating technical concepts to non-technical groups.

• Ability to lead and motivate a high performing team of engaged specialists.

• Proven experience in performance management through goal setting, creation of KPI’s and KA’s, monitoring, and tracking outcomes and value.

• Superior relationship management in building rapport with peers/stakeholders of all levels and resolving conflict to support the team in achieving set outcomes.

• Proven experience in leading joint  business planning forums and identifying and driving strategic initiatives focused on availability, efficiency and cost reducing initiatives.

• Complex problem solving ability to identify process issues and conduct root cause analysis to develop contingencies/countermeasures to resolve issues.

• Exposure to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) – e.g. Replenishment Planning, Vendor Supply Chain, Procurement, Buying.

• Category, seasonal and event management experience including an understanding of the drivers/influences that impact sales.
