We have an opportunity for a Merchandise Coordinator to join our Collins Street Boutique on a Full-Time basis. As the Merchandise Coordinator you will be responsible for effectively coordinating inventory management for the boutique.

Working autonomously, the responsibilities of the Merchandise Coordinator role include:

  • Stock control, cycle count accuracy, shrinkage and ensuring appropriate assortment and model stock levels.
  • Oversee receipt of all incoming merchandise including liaison with customs and shipping agents.
  • Coordination of price changes, partnering with store management to ensure all processes and systems support the required service standards.
  • Ordering packaging and unpacking as required.
  • You will also be called upon regularly to complete ad-hoc projects.

The Cut, Clarity, Carat and Colour...

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in retail stock management/inventory control.
  • Process driven, analytical, and demonstrable problem solving ability.
  • You must be flexible to work non-traditional trading hours including weekdays and weekends, early mornings, late night trade and all holidays. 
  • A college or university degree and previous gemological experience or qualification is preferred.
  • Candidates with a bi-lingual capability are encouraged to apply.
