A fantastic opportunity exists to join us as a Stock Allocator in our Planning team. Based in South Yarra, and reporting to the Senior Stock Analyst you will assist in maximising sales through effective management and control of stock.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review stock levels of all sizes on a daily and weekly basis across all stores
• Stock consolidation to maximise sales on best sellers
• Create final POs and send to suppliers
• Ensure stock is allocated correctly according to store profiles
• Review delivery schedules to confirm arrival of stock and/or highlight late deliveries
• Schedule the release of new products; prepare and update communications to business
• Liaise and coordinate with the DCs regarding deliveries, stock transfers and daily pick requirements
• Manage the distribution of styles at the end of their life cycle
• Update promotional activity list and provide to retail team for communication to stores.
• Participate in weekly team and business meetings
• Assist with preparing weekly reports
• Annotate VMI guide before each campaign with expected store dates and store bases and highlight risk
• Organise samples required for test stores
• Respond to any requests logged for planning within the expected time frame.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• tertiary qualification in business and / or 2 years’ experience gained within the apparel merchandise environment
• highly developed analytical and numerical skills
• effective communication and organisational skills as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to “think on your feet”
