About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse and Wholesales Sales Manager who ideally has previous experience in tyre and wheel sales. The ideal candidate is a sales person with warehouse coordination experience to oversee the warehouse and build LOCAL wholesale business.
You will need to be physically fit as you will need to handle the storage and moving of passenger, SUV, 4WD and Truck Tyres as well as Batteries and parts. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll your sleeves up and work well in collaboration as part of a team. Ideally you will have a lot of local contacts and be well known in Gippsland to assist you to build sales. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm and every 2nd Saturday 8am to 12pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in coordinating activities in a retail setting
- Experience in co-ordinating goods receipt and delivery of goods to wholesale customers
- Role includes stock management, stock receipt and despatch
- Computer savvy and have experience using online platforms as well as POS System (Marlin) and be proficient using Excel
- Creating relationships, having a strong work ethic and being happy to chase and achieve a budget will be critical
- Current Victoria Drivers licence (Mandatory)
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- Due to the repetitive nature and manual handling tasks involved, the successful applicant must be physically fit and work ready
