This is an exciting career opportunity to join French Connection, a truly global fashion brand, assisting the leadership team of our store located at Melbourne Central. We are seeking a driven and energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the management of this store and leadership of our vibrant team. You will have a proven track record of motivating your team to deliver results. Previous retail management experience is a must! 

As an Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for:

• Delivering and maintaining our exceptional, customer care standards
• Ensuring our high VM standards are adhered to while effectively merchandising clearance stock
• Support in the achievement of sales, wages and shrinkage budgets for the store
• Assist in the preparation of rosters costed to achieve the store budgets 
• Managing high volume stock including unpacking, processing, moving and refilling
• Managing the stockroom in a planned, organised and strategic manner
• Assist in the store stocktake process
• Supporting the Manager in all aspects of staff management including training and team development
• Balance customer care, team management and administrative duties
• Supporting the Store Manager to ensure store and company objectives are achieved, in line with financial and operational targets
