We are a group of young professionals, and we have just taken over Acland Court Pharmacy & Acland Street Pharmacy, located in St Kilda, Melbourne, on the famous multicultural and bustling Acland street.
We are dedicated to keep growing, expanding, to introducing positive changes to the local community and we are looking for PROACTIVE & HARDWORKING full time beauty advisor/ consultant to join our team. Job description
- Golden rule - every customer walks out the shop with satisfaction
- Greet or acknowledge every customer who enters the store when possible
- Approach customers and provide exceptional product information and advice
- Keep track with coming catalogues, plan far ahead and execute the plans with perfection.
- Cosmetic / Skin Care aisle are perfectly clean and neat, all products are tidy and organized
- Reach sales target while maintaining professional standards;
- Support and encourage companion selling to benefit the customers needs.
- Assist in replenishing stock, checking out of dates, rotating stock, and general housekeeping
- Ensure customers are informed of the features and benefits of products, detailing instructions on how to use the product
- Manage events and generate customer bookings experience in stock management & merchandising
- Expected to assist in areas that are not your department
- To minimize stock shrinkage
Our ideal candidate:
- Willingness to learn and building rapport with customers and staff , be a part of a big family
- a passion for the Beauty Industry
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience and working with targets and KPIs, with a broad cosmetic and skincare knowledge
- Experience in managing large volumes of stock and working to merchandising standards while still having a creative flare - an extra bonus
- Strong leadership capabilities including team development, training, motivation, engagement and performance management;
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales targets, implement marketing campaigns, and have a flare for visual merchandising;
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations, as well as the desire to share this knowledge and skills to develop others in this area;
- Strong financial and business acumen;
- Highly organized and efficient;
- A vibrant and enthusiastic disposition along with high energy levels;
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of loss prevention, store operations and safety.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to work early mornings, late nights and weekends on rotation.

Working Hours
Tuesday to Saturday 9am - 6pm
Must be flexible to take extra shifts
