Are you an experienced retail manager? Do you have experience with plants or perishable items? This is a great opportunity to be involved in ensuring the overall profitable operation and management of this new store. Your leadership will ensure sales targets are met, reporting results as required. Reporting to the Managing Director your key responsibilities will be:
Staff management and administration
- Open/close of store
- Store administration; including daily reports, banking and cash handling
- Create a safe working environment for your team
- Improve performance and productivity of the store team
- Rosters, recruitment and development
- Manager budgets and drive profitability
Buying and inventory management
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers
- Stock ordering, replenishment, merchandising, waste management
- Management of POS system, including inventory
- Manage discounting of stock to ensure turnover
- Manage stock on consignment
Visual merchandising
- Ensure all stock is merchandised correctly
- Set up in store promotions
Marketing
- Input on marketing campaigns
