B.L. Shipway is the leading distributor of Fluid Power products in South Australia. A proudly South Australian owned and operated private company, they specialise in the manufacture, distribution and service of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and industrial hose and fittings.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to add a Store/Counter Sales Person with Warehousing and Counter Sales experience. The successful candidate will conduct all Store person operations normally encompassed in such a role as well as work in Counter Sales as required.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience and attributes:
- General warehouse duties
- Picking and packing orders, receiving & despatching
- Scanning / Invoicing / Stocktake / Cycle Counting
- Supporting counter sales and enquiries as required
- Forklift Licence and Car Licence
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Assist in production stock movement
- Seal kit assembly when required
The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, have a high attention to detail and have a positive and pro-active attitude.
Ideally, they will be personable and able to create a quick rapport with customers and have previous experience in the Hydraulic Seal industry.
This position will be a permanent position, and in general, will be working Monday and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate must be flexible to work overtime, as required, depending on workload demands.
