We’re searching for an experienced Forecast Analyst to be responsible for gathering planning requirements and translating those requirements into forecast models and planning scorecards.
Responsibilities:

- Gathering and translating business needs into forecast models to produce both demand and supply forecasts
- Reviewing historical trends, researching demand drivers, developing statistical models and evaluating forecast results to improve forecast accuracy
- Working closely with relevant business areas to understand demand forecast drivers and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
- Ensuring data input into forecast models is complete, relevant and accurate
- Using and maintaining the forecast models as the primary forecasting tool
- Co-ordinating activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated, consensus assumptions
- Working closely with the business groups to review activity plans, challenge assumptions and recommend forecast adjustments accordingly
- Achieving consensus for demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing, service and finance teams
Experience and capability:

- Experience in demand & supply planning, forecasting or statistical role
- Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures
- Experience in a fast paced environment preferable
- Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline (management, economics, finance) preferable
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods
- Very high proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency with demand planning and forecasting tools preferable
- Ability to multi task whilst prioritising
