Our Northland & Hawthorn stores are looking for a casual sales gun to join their high performing teams. This role will be based across both Hawthorn and Northland stores. Shifts will vary between stores so flexibility to travel is essential. The successful applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays where required.
Ideally, you will have a competitive, yet personable nature and genuinely enjoy interacting with people and making a difference to their day. You will spend most of your day talking to customers finding out their needs and offering them solutions to help take the guesswork out of buying a bed. We have the tools to help you do this, if you come prepared to learn.
You will also have an interest in selling furniture, homewares and bedding and enjoy working as part of a team. Other duties include visual merchandising, moving furniture and keeping the store neat and presentable at all times.
Sales and product training is provided however an understanding for the need to deliver superior customer service on your part is paramount to the job and is what we stand for at Snooze. You will possess the following:
- Retail experience in bulky goods or big ticket items
- Exceptionally high standards of customer service
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- A proven sales history
- Accomplished negotiation skills
- High energy, passion and drive
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks such as floor moves and making beds
