Serco is currently seeking an experienced store or warehousing supervisor to manage the day to day operation and staff resources of the defence clothing store based at the Keswick Barracks, South Australia on a part time permanent basis.
Working 19 hours across a 4 day work week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) this is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role with work-life balance in mind.
In this role, duties will include:
- Stocktaking, preparation and adherence to the stocktake and spot checking program
- Reconciling all public monies daily (cash handling)
- Ensuring customers are served and registers are maintained
- Preparing and presenting reports to management
- Monitoring site for unauthorised access
- Liaising with Clothing Hotline and Defence Contract Managers
- Preparing and processing demands for stock
- Coaching and mentoring of staff
Experience, skills and qualification:
To be considered you will have previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within a customer facing or warehousing role. You will have a proactive approach and a positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment. Tertiary qualifications in Frontline Management or Logistics would be highly regarded.
It is a requirement for the successful candidate to be an Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Security Defence Clearance.
