Culture Kings - Assistant Buyer (Fulltime)
The Role - We are looking for a highly experienced Buyer to join our CK Team. This is a fast-paced, competitive role and we only want the best!!!
Duties will include:
- Analysing product performance with the ability to identify best sellers and take action.
- Monitor aged inventory and action poor performing styles in line with reduced to clear processes in line with margin targets.
- Manage marketing campaigns - socials, web store and promotions alongside marketing team.
- Working in conjunction with designers contributing to increase of sales in house brands and on-going brand development.
- Assortment planning, buying season and core lines in line with open to buy budgets.
- Forecasting and size curve analysis.
- Maintaining appropriate and up to date information in regards to market trends current product knowledge to Management and Inventory and Inhouse teams.
- Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands to formulate a buying practice in line with company objectives.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance.
About You - To be successful you will need to possess the following:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a buying role.
- High level of written and oral communication skills with the ability to build rapport and use persuasive negotiation skills as necessary.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated buying experience within apparel and/or footwear.
- Exceptional understanding of the fast fashion market, with an ability to interpret trends and build ranges to ensure brand cohesion and variety.
- Engaging people leader and collaborative working style.
- A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced dynamic environment with a strong focus on multitasking.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
