About the role

The marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting marketing manager and support marketing team with Marketing activities. This work will be a critical factor for smooth operations of the Marketing department.

To perform this job successfully, applicants need to have

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Takes ownership of tasks assigned and follows through to the end
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills

It is preferable that applicants have a degree in Marketing. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in executing overall marketing plan for the organisation
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events and campaigns and at times attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders and encouraging trusting relationships
  • Data Entry - Enter new student prospect (RFI) information into Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Manage student mail-outs when necessary
  • Upload and Maintain the marketing department’s documentation and database
  • Administrative support / manage registrations for Scholarship Programs, Open days and short courses
  • Assist in preparation of and running of marketing events and programs
  • Assist in liaising with printing vendors, designers and etc to assist production of marketing materials with the Marketing Manager
  • Support in planning short courses such as barista courses, RSA etc
  • Main person responsible for managing college enquiries,to potential and current students both online and offline (email and social media)
