Are you the sort of person who rolls your eyes a little at the term “Growth Marketer” cos it’s such a buzzword, but at the same time knows that’s totally what you are? Then read on!

 

Our client is rapidly growing and we’re looking for the next Growth Marketer to take them to the next level.

 

As the Growth Marketer you will

Work directly with both our team and our client, rolling out campaigns with your growth marketing strategies.

With a ‘can do’ attitude, this ‘on the tools’ role will see you seconded to the Milk it Academy office, learning from our senior team, whilst managing our client remotely. Sure, it’s just a short tram trip away to visit them for WIPs and meetings, but working internally with us will ensure our client will always get the best Growth Marketing strategies and practices available.

A renowned bricks and mortar shop and online store, our client has experience with a range of marketing channels and strategies, like email, organic social, paid social, adwords, events, onsite creative and campaigns, customer surveys, competitions, giveaways, and more, but they’re missing one thing to take them to the next level - you!

Milk it Academy offers customised in-house digital marketing training programs to optimise the performance of sales and marketing teams. We take a unique consultative approach to training by building our programs with our clients to their desired skills set improvement, technology, customer data and business goals.

 

And who do you need to be?

  • Excited about being part of a lean team that loves to growth hack!

  • All over the idea of taking a campaign and lifecycle focus, rather than a siloed channel focus

  • Able to work autonomously and lead our client’s campaigns

  • Confident with training and facilitating processes and strategies

  • An ‘on the tools’ doer. You get stuff done. You can consistently execute on ideas.

  • Click with our values and our client’s values with a clear understanding of how they would play out in their marketing.

  • Able to innovate processes and work with all parties to develop repeatable systems and approaches to manage the tasks and projects that fall to marketing.

  • All about data, measuring impact, and making data-driven decisions. You know your way around the analytics sections of major channels, as well as Google Analytics - and you know what to do with all that information.

  • Creative - you’ll not only be implementing campaigns across channels, you’ll be preparing the creative (clever copywriting).

  • Comfortable with implementing and writing in the brands  tone of voice.

  • Ready to learn and work with us and our client as we expand their marketing strategy and explore existing new opportunities!

  • Hungry and open to always learning more about the digital landscape

 

What does that all look like in practice? Well if you’d been with us over the last month, you would have -

  • Managed and rolled out multiple campaigns for new and featured brands across email, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google and reported on key campaign metrics, including whether the campaign met target ROAS

  • Posted regularly to social media and managed replies and comments

  • Developed weekly emails to our subscribers - developed the theme, briefed the team, liaised with the inventory team for content, written copy, produced graphics, drafted, proofed and scheduled the emails

  • Worked with our Adwords agency to monitor campaign performance and make adjustments

  • Supported training workshops

  • Developed content-marketing driven cross-channel campaigns based on blogs, videos and other content developed by our team, determining the best demographic segment, goals and strategy for each campaign.

  • Reported back to the senior Milk it Academy team and our client’s senior team

 

What about the details?

  • Based in Port Melbourne and CBD

  • 4-5 days per week, full time

  • $60k - $80k depending on the candidate
