About the business

House of Brand (houseofbrandgroup.com) and Screen Audience Research Australia (SARA) (screenaudienceresearch.com) are next wave research and planning consultancies experiencing lots of organic growth with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo.

We have 30+ staff globally and growing and now have a new position available for an experienced Quantitative Research and Planning Director, or current Associate Director ready to step into a Director leadership role.

House of Brand has very deep client relationships across some of the biggest and most iconic brands in Australia and the world, and Screen Audience Research Australia (Screen Audience Research International in the USA) works with Hollywood studios, government agencies and production companies on the entertainment side. The role would span both agencies.

Our team, along with our sister production/financing company Cowlick Entertainment Group (cowlickentertainment.com), is made up of brand strategists, research specialists, story-tellers and film producers. Our housemates love taking initiative, are inventive problem solvers, are happiest when continually pioneering, have strong creativity and very high quality standards of delivery. We exist to create more conscious brands for a more conscious world by energising brand action so we will be looking for senior people who can really get behind, co-create and deliver this vision.

What do we need?

The role as Director Quant Insights reports into the Managing Director and would suit someone with at least 8+ years in another agency with experience across a range of quantitative methodologies and multi-variate analyses, with a focus on the brand, communications, entertainment and media space.

You have a presentation style and personality that clients love, and can inspire everyone around you with not only your research knowledge but your enthusiasm and brand thinking.

  • Minimum 8 years market research agency experience
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, being a great presenter is a must
  • Creative thinker and thought leader
  • High standards of client service and perfectionism
  • Ability to design, present and sell all things quant (and ideally also qual)
