Primary purpose of this role:

Working closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for the execution of Broadsheet’s Marketing and Brand Project plan, with a focus on Brand Projects, Brand Partnerships and Print Media Projects. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all marketing activities are executed to a high standard, on time and on budget.

This position reports to the Brand Marketing Manager and Publisher and works closely with the internal editorial, product, studio and operations team, as well as our external design agency and a range of brand and media partners.  

Broadsheet is well known for its Brand Projects, including pop-up restaurants, published books, print papers, parties and events, with many more to come. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Brand Projects

  • Responsible for execution of Brand Projects;
  • Working closely with Publisher and Brand Marketing manager to take Brand Projects from conception to development to execution, both as a project manager and also supporting in execution of marketing plans.

Brand Partnerships

  • Responsible for execution of project based and annual partnerships;
  • Working with Broadsheet Studio to bring partnerships to life through agreed channels;
  • Ensuring Broadsheet objectives and opportunities through partner channels are maximised and exceeded.

Print Media Projects

  • Responsible for execution of print media projects including annual book and national bi-monthly paper;
  • Working with Print Editor, manage internal and external timelines and creative agency output for print projects;
  • Working with Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing and distribution plans for print projects.

Public Relations

  • Responsible for execution of project based public relations strategies and campaigns;
  • Working with Brand Marketing Manager and external PR contractors to produce PR materials and manage outreach.

Product

  • Responsible for execution of marketing plans to support launch and ongoing communication of key products such as Broadsheet Bookings, User Reviews and Things To Do.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent project management and relationship management;
  • 3 years demonstrable experience in a role(s) that cover both project and marketing work;
  • Optimistic can-do attitude when confronting challenges;
  • An understanding of the Australian digital media market.
  • A love of the things that make our cities great, from food and drink, to art and design and fashion and events.
