Working for a high profile ASX Top 100 Australian brand, this critical marketing leadership role will manage a category of products that's not only in massive demand and high-growth, but also solving the critical Australian problem of rising energy costs - an issue that effects every Australian household.

With over 4000 staff, this iconic Australian manufacturer is also regarded as an Employer of Choice, providing career pathways for high performers, investing in people and innovating across it's product portfolio.

Managing a team the role is responsible for the development and execution of category plans across multiple channels based on market and customer insights, managing supplier relationships; demand planning and inventory; pricing; sales resources and national buying accounts including big box retail.

A signficant part of the role and a key drawcard is the supplier relationship with a global powerhouse brand, one that's changing the world we live in with environment solutions based on emerging technology that's in massive demand.

To be considered for this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or commerce along with a proven track record of category, product or marketing management in a Tier 1 business in consumer electronics, FMCG, energy or telco markets. Your category management skills will be best in class in terms of market & customer insights, strategic category planning and ideally supplier relationship management.
