About The Role

HomeAway is looking for a strong marketer that is passionate about the travel space and who is experienced at driving marketing campaigns in ANZ. This role would help build and engage our growing base of vacation rental Partners (incl. homeowners and property managers) in the ANZ local market.


You will also explore new potential partnerships or strategy to pilot and scale the business for growth, while finding new ways to connect with and improve our relationships with our supplier and owners, who are core to our business. You will work side by side with Account Management and Sales to achieve the common revenue goals of the region as well as engaging with Global Partner and Product Marketing counterparts to ensure successful execution at a local level.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Build and execute annual partner marketing campaign calendar to educate, engage, and build our partner community through the HomeAway product and brand communications to be seen as a leader within the vacation rental community.
  • Develop and execute a local lead generation plan in partnership with Sales and initiatives to drive Acquisition of holiday vacation rentals on the HomeAway platforms.
  • Identify appropriate partner customer segments and targeting opportunities to implement local partner plans.
  • Explore new pilot programs and breakthrough opportunities to promote the HomeAway value proposition for homeowners and property managers, innovating a new marketing approach to building the HomeAway vacation rental supply.
  • Lead and manage programs to maintain loyalty and build advocacy of our current partners within the VR marketplace.
  • Plan annual marketing strategies and business reviews in line with HomeAway’s global priorities.
  • Lead and manage local marketing content and communications delivering on budget and timings for all ANZ Partner Marketing.
  • Plan, lead and execute trade event programs as well as local seminars with the Partner Success team.
  • Lead and manage 2 direct reports located in SYD and NZ.

Ideal profile

  • 5-7 years of product marketing or consumer marketing planning and execution
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years experience in B2B2C or B2B marketing strategy including experience in direct response or lead generation marketing and outreach.
  • Marketer with a passion for reaching people in new and unique ways through new channels in ANZ.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, agile environment (requirement).
  • Experience in influencer strategy and digital marketing/Social media trends a plus.
  • Online and e-commerce experience (desirable).
  • Ability to work successfully with cross functional groups such as sales, customer service, and product marketing to execute marketing strategies.
  • Experienced in strategic long term planning and effectively driving the vision.
  • Strong project and partner management skills.
