Reporting to the CEO, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for owning the digital marketing function. The focus of this role will be to lead digital marketing strategy and campaigns from concept to completion. The role comes with a large amount of autonomy, requiring the right person to be the creative, initiative-taking type who is eager to one day, step up into a senior leadership role, as the company continues to rapidly expand.

Priorities - the work

  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising 
  • Analyse results and report on performance against goals (ROI and KPIs) to identify new opportunities, always looking for the story in the data 
  • Identify trends and insights, optimising spend and performance accordingly 
  • Brainstorm new and creative digital growth strategies (including outside of core channels) 
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience 
  • Utilise analytics to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points 
  • Understand conversion points and optimise user funnels based on insights 
  • Collaborate with agencies and other partners 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide advice on whether to adopt new tools where appropriate

Skills - the person

  • Bachelor’s degree or above and 4+ years experience in a similar role
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with experience in lead generation, remarketing
  • Knowledge and understanding of global ad platforms (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.)
  • Ability to learn on the fly and exercise intellectual agility
  • Experience in and optimising for: Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, UTM code construction and tracking in general
  • Inclined towards taking initiative in a collaborative and integrated way
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation
  • Qualities: adaptable, resilient, transparent, trustworthy, passionate and innately curious with the desire to further their leadership skills
