This is a new hire and direction for the business where the individual in question will be required to develop, define and implement the data management strategy for the organisation. The realisation of a robust data governance and data policy strategy is essential for increased partnering with the business to help drive through the new growth projections.
Highlights of the role include:
• Drive a newly created data management agenda where you will implement and evolve the data strategy/ governance for the whole group
• Deliver a single source of truth for all data requirements across the business
• Provide direction on how best to structure and govern the data to drive the insight solutions
• Lead and build a high performing team
• Help implement a new software for metadata and data lineage management
• Report directly to the Chief Data Officer (CDO)
You will be leading the thought process around the data governance and you will be looking to hire and lead an experienced team of business partners. Once the framework is delivered the next stage of the strategy is to work with your peer to increase advanced analytics and data science capability.
