We’re commencing recruitment for a Marketing Executive to work onsite at Menai Marketplace. This will be a permanent part-time opportunity (21 hours a week), where there is room for flexibility around how the hours are worked, all we ask is that Thursday and Friday are part of the working days.
Working closely with the Centre Manager, you’ll require a broad range of marketing skills ranging from managing all centre advertising and promotions, social media campaigns, assisting with the monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators including sales, traffic and budgets, organising events and working on the marketing strategies.
Menai Marketplace is located in Sutherland Shire, around 40km south-west of the Sydney CBD. It offers a strong variety of fresh food and convenience shopping, has on-grade parking for over 800 cars, Menai Marketplace is the centre of choice for the community. Anchored by Big W and Woolworths and offering over 45 specialty stores and a medical centre, Menai Marketplace encompasses an array of options for every day shopping needs.
In this role, you’ll also be responsible for managing valuable relationships with a range of stakeholders, including customers, retailers, local community groups, senior management, external partners and suppliers, as well as the administrative functions of the marketing department.
To be successful, you’ll be degree qualified with demonstrated marketing experience, ideally 3-4 years gained within retail marketing. You’ll have experience managing promotions, events and budgets, as well as a passion for implementing carefully planned strategies and measuring the results. You’ll have excellent communication, organisation, negotiation and time management skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
