The Van Haandel Group owns and operates some of Australia’s most iconic and respected hospitality venues, including Stokehouse Restaurants in St Kilda and Brisbane, Pontoon on St Kilda Beach, and Fatto Bar & Cantina. We are committed to providing exciting dining experiences that reflect tomorrow’s expectations – our venues are design driven and led by experienced and award-winning hospitality professionals. We have launched three new venues over the past two years, with further growth planned Nationally for later this year and into 2019. We are now seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work collaboratively with our Marketing team and Venue Managers to principally support Stokehouse St Kilda and Fatto.
In this role you will be supported by an energised, creative and committed team, working in conjunction with our Group Marketing Coordinator (Stokehouse Q & Pontoon), Social Media and Community Manager and external graphic designers and public relations support. The focus of this position will be to work as part of the venue team to ensure marketing plans are confirmed quarterly in advance and to implement successful marketing activities and strategies. Typical work activities will include maintaining the marketing calendar, developing and presenting marketing ideas, strategies and offers which are consistent with our brand guidelines, overseeing communications including newsletters, website updates, in venue collateral and social media key messaging with extensive copy writing and responding to media enquiries.
This role will be based at our office in St Kilda with frequent visits to our venues. You will need to have a flexible and can do approach and be excited to work as part of a high energy hospitality team. You will have proven experience in the above responsibilities with previous hospitality experience or knowledge of the hospitality industry, be highly organised, and confident in your ability to express your opinions and influence outcomes.
