Marketing Manager – 12 month contract, part time option

Idealair Group supplies well known market brands of air movement equipment and associated products into the HVAC & R market and affiliated industries. At Idealair Group we are dedicated to servicing our customers and offering product guidance to help with the growth and success of our customer’s projects.
Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking a driven Marketing Manager to formally establish and co-ordinate the Marketing function within our business. You will be part of the Head Office team located in Alexandria NSW, supporting 5 locations on the eastern seaboard of Australia.
A part time arrangement of 28-32 hours per week with flexibility to spread this across the week will be considered for candidates that can demonstrate excellence in the key aspects as outlined below.
The role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, your remit will be
- Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop and co-ordinate highly effective and engaging editorial, advertising, branding and customer communications materials
- Content development and production co-ordination of catalogues, price lists, company style guide, customer newsletters, e-blasts and other promotional material
- Maintain and further develop company webpages
- Organise and attend events including trade shows and industry nights
- Strategic planning for the ongoing activities of the Marketing function
- Provide exceptional internal customer service
The candidate:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, business or similar discipline
- A sound understanding of the marketing function within a trade/field marketing business where demand generation is the core driver
- Strong computer software skills, InDesign experience preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated project management and report writing skills
- Superior analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritise
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiating with stakeholders
- Be a self-starter with a resourceful attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team
