Filtered Media is a brand storytelling agency pioneering the integration of PR, Social content marketing and production. We’re seeking a graphic designer to join our highly-respected team servicing some of the biggest technology and consumer brands.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for the interplay between design and story, and an unrelenting attention to detail. A qualification in graphic design will stand you in good stead – as will a strong work ethic and sense of humour.
Reporting to the Design Manager + Storyteller, you would execute Filtered Media’s visual and online content production projects including layout and design of digital web assets, documents, presentations, reports and creative pitches. You will be working alongside talented design, content and public relations teams to deliver above and beyond expectations, every time.
Day-to-day, the Designer is responsible for:
- Developing and delivering graphic content elements according to briefs
- Maintaining a cohesive visual identity across various content types
- Interpreting and implementing branding guidelines
- Maintaining website user interfaces, uploading imagery and assets as needed
- Briefing third party suppliers on content delivery, ensuring deadlines are met
To excel at the role, the Designer must have:
- 1-2 years’ of professional experience in design
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong corporate portfolio
- Awareness of graphic design trends and industry leading software and technologies
- Outstanding ability to develop, communicate and present ideas
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite of products, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to follow systems and processes
- Attention to detail
- Grace under fire
- Permanent Australian residency status
Desirable:
- Graphic Design qualification
- Animated HTML5 skills (Adobe Animate, Google Web Designer)
- Basic web coding skills (HMTL, CSS, Wordpress)
- Photography skills
- Motion graphic and video skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
