SMAART currently have the perfect opportunity for a Graduate Marketing Coordinator to join a supportive and close knit team, as they provide end to end marketing for an established not for profit organisation based in Bulleen. The successful candidate will be given all the support and development they need to be successful in this role. 

Established in the 1960’s, the organisation currently has over 120 employees and contributes to the community through local sporting clubs and fund-raising events, whilst also providing its 2000 members and the wider community access to function spaces and club facilities.

This role will offer the successful candidate true potential for growth with key objectives for learning and development set out, as well as the opportunity to work autonomously and make a role your own. You will form the back bone for the marketing department for this organisation and provide key support to the management and events team. 

Reporting to the General Manager and Operations Manager, you will manage the day to day marketing and events function as you develop and execute events and campaigns to engage new and existing clientele. You will also take control of all things social media and manage the development and update of the organisations website. 

Key requirements

• A strong understanding of marketing and communications principles 
• Formal Marketing qualifications having at least completed a Bachelors Degree in Marketing or relevant discipline
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently 
• Motivated, determined and driven - you are a self starter and looking for a challenge 
• A strong technical ability and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to speak fluent Italian is advantageous however not essential for this role
