OVERVIEW.

Due to phenomenal business growth we’re looking for an experienced Digital Performance Manager who can lead client accounts to drive multi-channel customer acquisition and conversion efforts. In this role you will oversee acquisition growth across the entire online marketing mix. You will also be responsible for leading and owning day to day client service, account management and optimisation for client accounts. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing data-driven media strategies and tactics that drive positive ROI for e-commerce or acquisition-focused companies. You will think creatively and analytically and be driven by day-to-day execution and optimisations. Working collaboratively across the agency you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative curiosity. You will be at the forefront of digital and social trends and will need to share these learning’s with internal and external teams.

This is a strategic, client facing position so excellent communication and presentation skills are vital. With strong leadership skills, you’ll be able to build trusting relationships with clients, take responsibility for the smooth-running of the account and be able to motivate and educate internal and client teams.

DAILY ROLE REQUIREMENTS.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT.

  • Oversee the account and play a supporting role in sustaining account growth, diversification and profitability.
  • Play an influential role in managing client relationship health, client satisfaction, and sustained year-over-year client retention.
  • Function as a strategic business partner, advisor and relationship lead for director and/or manager-level.
  • Partner and collaborate with all department and capability peers and working teams.

 

PERFORMANCE MARKETING.

  • Oversee all aspects of the consumer journey, including: awareness, consideration, and acquisition.
  • Develop and execute high-level marketing strategy and activities to drive customer acquisition while achieving efficiency KPIs and performance targets.
  • Provide input on models to define profitability and Customer Lifetime Value of acquired customers, using data to
    refine strategy.
  • Develop a pipeline for innovation across marketing channels, promotional offers and messaging, using A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Embrace knowledge of all changing media marketplace conditions, consumer trends, research/measurement evolutions, ad tech, and provide expertise internally and externally to keep organization in the know.
  • Partner with external client creative teams to develop and give feedback on marketing messaging and creative execution performance.
  • Provide marketing analytics expertise on all campaign, which includes response tracking and campaign reporting.
  • Clearly communicate business requirements; partner with technology teams and external vendors to build software and processes to enable customer targeting/segmentation, campaign execution and measurement at scale.
  • Promote continual creative improvement and lead programs to expected ROI with an understanding of cost of acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics to help clients monitor and adjust key marketing programs in order to maximize growth.
  • Present and sell through key findings and future plans to clients.
  • Implement ongoing communications with clients and other agencies partners to inspire the best work and ensure a strong feedback loop.


EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET.

  • 6+ years of experience in developing, and executing massive scale digital marketing campaigns.
  • Must have digital planning background for national brands with in-house or agency experience.
  • Ability to synthesise data, make data-driven decisions and balance that with the ‘art’ of media strategy.
  • Experience with biddable performance channels - Google AdWords, Facebook, DoubleClick stack and LinkedIn is essential as is experience with Data Management Platforms.
  • Experience with web analytics and the ability to process and understand data in order to segment audiences and develop attribution models is essential. 
  • Experience with A/B personalisation and audience segmentation. 
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of SEO principles will also be highly valued.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to organise information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners.
