Advertising Analyst

This leading Advertising Technology company is currently expanding within it's  advertising analytics team which develops strategic insights around buyer, marketplace and yield performance for their advertising revenues and supports their advertising team.
 
You will work as part of the Finance, Analytics and Strategy team based in Sydney.  You will be part of a global analytics community and work closely with other analytics teams. 
 
Responsibilities

• ­­Provide clear narrative on key drivers / anchors and their relative contribution to advertising business performance
• Partner with BU leaders to tackle strategic challenges and guide strategic response via advanced analytical methods
• Lead problem solving with curiosity and creativity to drive concise and actionable recommendations
• Develop a deep understanding of customer, advertiser and partnership dynamics
• Test and optimise pricing & yield performance across all user touchpoints and platforms
• Set up and maintain tracking requirements to ensure that complete data sets are fed to our central data warehouse for automated reporting
• Develop and maintain necessary dashboards to provide insight and drive business decisions

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years within the digital media analytics space
• A strong academic profile with an advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering or related degree
• Expert level skills in SQL, Hadoop, R/Python, Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional intellectual curiosity, a passion for problem solving and comfortable working w/ ambiguity
• Advanced communication skills and business acumen to deliver powerful insights and presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and integrity
