The Buzz Group is the perfect blend of a communications and talent agency and is seeking a creative PR Account Executive to join our Sydney team.

This position will manage and execute public relation, digital and influencer campaigns on behalf of our clients. 

With exciting development plans in 2018 and a growing portfolio of luxury clients, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on an exciting challenge and be part of a growing team and business.   

We are looking for a fun-loving and dynamic person with a passion for the PR industry.

The PR Account Executive will work in conjunction with our senior team and be responsible for;

• Manage the daily account responsibilities for multiple media clients across various sectors including; celebrity entertainment, luxury, fashion, lifestyle and food. 
• Planning and developing public relations strategies, digital and influencer campaigns across all media platforms including print, digital, TV and radio.
• Stay current on new media trends and implement appropriate strategies and tactics, if necessary, to meet clients' objectives.
• Press release and pitch writing, distribution and follow-up.
• Co-ordinate a large number of interview requests for our talent. 
• Ability to develop and craft talking points and identify newsworthy angles and chase the next big media story.
• Develop and build strong relationships with key media to ensure positive coverage for our clients.
• Implement and manage multiple influencer campaigns.

Requirements 

• At least 2-3 years proven PR experience in an agency.
• Strong press release writing skills.
• A solid understanding and relationship with media.
• Think creatively and outside of the box.
• Experience working in a fast paced, results orientated environment.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms. Ability to manage clients' social media accounts.
• Excellent time management skills to work within deadlines and time constraints.
• The ability to honour and maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
• The ability to take directions & work autonomously once briefed.
