Your new Department
Join a National Federal body governing a major transport sector. You’ll work in the Web Projects team, liaising closely with the Communications and IT teams, internal and external stakeholders, business owners, and individual consumers. You’ll work within easy access of major shopping, cafes, and restaurant facilities.
Your new role
The team are undergoing a digital transformation project to make their online information more user-friendly. The idea is to make it easy to find consistent, accurate information for all stakeholders. We’re looking for someone to help manage the content process - auditing existing content, removing what’s unnecessary, editing complex or hard-to-understand content, and creating new content from scratch where necessary.
The role will require a lot of liaison with different business areas, not only to refine their content but to make sure the required information is readily available and accurate.
What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone with:
- Excellent writing skills and proven experience in managing content for websites
- Experience with a wide variety of digital communications and online publishing tasks - 3 years or more
- Experience with and a strong understanding of Drupal
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a corporate communications or website environment
What you'll get in return
This contract is until end of financial year currently with the possibility of extension depending on funding of the project.
As a Hays contractor, you’ll also receive an attractive hourly rate of $55-60/hr plus super dependent on your experience, as well as ongoing support and feedback from your Hays consultant.
