The role

We are seeking a Clients & Markets Assistant to join our fast paced marketing team on a part- time permanent basis.

The role is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the design, content and production of marketing collateral for both internal and external audiences;
  • Providing support to the Clients & Markets team for all marketing and business development initiatives - from designing invitations, to event delivery as well as ensuring that all activities are appropriately recorded in our CRM system;
  • Supporting the implementation and content creation for BDO’s digital channels;
  • Assisting with BDO sponsorship execution;
  • Ensuring firm-wide compliance with our Global Corporate Visual Identity guidelines;
  • Updating and maintaining distribution lists and assisting in the management of email campaigns;
  • Coordinating marketing projects and providing administrative support to the Clients & Markets team;
  • CRM database management; and
  • Creating local advertising campaigns.

What we are looking for?

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience working within the professional services industry;
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related discipline;
  • Advanced proficiency using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative suite;
  • Professional use of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook;
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively across all levels of the business, both internally and externally;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly adaptable.
