As the Head of Digital and E-Commerce, you will be responsible for the entire digital footprint for the retailer of Manchester and Homewares. The right person will have good experience across all things digital with a heavy focus and experience in the retail space.The Digital and E-Commerce Manager is responsible for managing the brands website in order to achieve overall objectives of generating revenue and maximising customer loyalty.
- Develops Digital Marketing and Social Media strategies and devises online brand and product campaigns to raise awareness, reflecting the brand creative strategy;
- Ensures all web content and social media activities are executed in line with business requirements;
- Develops and oversees Digital Marketing budgets and ensures all spend is in line with agreed plans;
- Is responsible for the website and through the marketing team, facilitates online content development and management;
- Designs and is responsible for the execution of EDMs/ email campaigns;
- Manages on page/off page SEO to increase organic ranking of all web pages over time;
- SEM – uses Google Adwords as an acquisition strategy to drive site traffic and conversions;
- Actively collaborates with on-brand companies to get exposure for digitally (Openpay, Afterpay, coupon sites, affiliate networks, brand collaborations);
- Develops and implements E-commerce strategy to create a seamless omni channel experience for customers to increase sales in line with brand creative Direction;
- Develops strategies, tactics and plans for implementing new functionality and processes for online customers and ensures any changes enhance the user experience;
- Undertakes CRM database management and executes website promotions as directed;
- Is responsible for customer acquisition activities to grow the CRM database to drive traffic online and to stores.
As the Digital and E-Commerce Manager, you will have two direct reports.
- 8 –12 years’ experience in and E-Commerce and Digital role
- Experience with Shopify
- Copywriting experience
- Experience with Photoshop and Zendesk
- Experience with Google Adwords
- Able to effectively influence and develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
