The Opportunity:

FCA Australia is looking for an experienced and dynamic Communications Coordinator to join the team located in Port Melbourne.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, you will play a fundamental role in the generation and exposure of FCA Australia's product range in the media through fleet testing and the dissemination of information internally and throughout the dealer network.  In this role you will primarily support the Corporate Communications department with the effective management of the press fleet, media launches, press liaison administration and other department activities and administration.

Your responsilbilties will include, but won't be limited to:

  • Assisting with the management of FCA Australia’s Press and Marketing Fleet (Australia-wide) to support product launches, marketing events and ensuring significant  positive media coverage (including liaison with dealers, motoring and lifestyle journalists, media production staff and budget management);
  • Ensuring the press and marketing fleet is well maintained by adhering to servicing and mechanical check requirements;
  • Making sure all vehicles are transported to locations on time working closely with our business partners and transport providers;
  • Maintaining automotive media websites, FCA’s intranet and media databases;
  • Managing and coordinating travel arrangements for local and international press launches and bespoke events;
  • Developing materials for product launch activities (including both media releases and technical data);
  • Assisting with media requests related to FCA Australia's products;
  • Attending local press and product launches and events when required; and
  • Supporting with all administration within the Corporate Communications department.
