We are looking for someone to help us enable that dream as an Online Marketplace Specialist - Asia based in either our Melbourne or Christchurch support office.
To thrive in this role you will be online savvy and have a passion for online retailing. As well as being detailed orientated, you will be analytical and numerate and someone who operates with a commercial mindset. Reporting to the Online Marketplace Manager – ANZ and International, you will be responsible for the marketing and trade of the Kathmandu product range on the TMall marketplace.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Contributing to the development and implementation of a trading and marketing plan for Asian marketplaces, including but not limited to TMall
- Contributing to the operational requirements of the Marketplaces team ensuring operational demands are forecasted including dispatch and contact centre volume
- Directing agencies and external advisors to undertake tasks and managing their performance
- Ensuring merchant ratings are monitored, trends are identified and recommendations are put forward to the business to enhance ratings

You will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in trading Asian marketplaces including the TMall marketplace
- Online experience with exposure to marketing and trading operations
- Experience with marketplaces including eBay, TradeMe and Amazon
- An understanding of marketplace operations
- Experience working with external agencies
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Business intelligence (BI) system experience
- Fluency in Mandarin
