About the position

Moula is seeking an experienced Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to join our growing business. This is a great opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team and work in collaboration with our experienced and dynamic in-house marketing function.  

This role will play a critical role in helping us make profitable decisions, identifying relevant keywords and devising strategies for promoting those keywords via organic and/or paid channels.  

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing keyword research for both organic and paid channels

  • Create, implement and analyse SEO/SEM strategies for increasing site traffic through organic unbranded search queries

  • Define technical requirements for site enhancements that maximise roi and increase rank of natural search results listings from organic or paid channels

  • Drive inbound link growth via organic and paid channels and engage with site partners / vendors to optimise traffic

  • Develop regular reporting on metrics and provide ongoing recommendations based on data

  • Regularly communicate with the broader team to drive on-page and technical SEO changes

  • Anticipate and respond to AdWords changes and search engine algorithm changes

  • Work closely with the SEO Copywriter on keyword research and article briefing

  • Collaborate with different teams and drive all aspects of SEM; clearly communicate goals and areas of opportunity to management

About you

The ideal candidate will have marketing or related experience and strong analytical sensibility to make profitable decisions.  You will be skilled in identifying relevant keywords and devising strategies for promoting those keywords via organic and/or paid channels.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Expected proficiency in Keyword Research, Google Analytics, AdWords Search and Display.

  • Background knowledge in finance, credit, fintech etc

  • Experience working on marketing campaigns for B2B sector

  • Strong grasp SEO/SEM, content and other marketing channels

  • Deep knowledge and interest of latest industry trends, technology and changes

  • Experience working cross-functionally within an organisation; ability to communicate overarching site goals and evangelise SEO

  • Critical-thinking skills and the ability to identify interesting trends in data to develop key takeaways and recommendations

  • Independent, energetic, highly technical, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity

  • Comfortable working in a very collaborative, creative, fast paced, and agile environment

  • Comfortable sharing concepts and taking feedback from a very passionate and involved team

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to keep abreast of innovative trends and technologies
