Your new role

As Marketing Executive for the business, you'll be responsible for the local marketing activity of this global company.  Your role will be an integral part of a small team in Sydney setting the direction of branding and marketing activity. In addition, supporting our customers and distribution channel partners throughout Australia and New Zealand. 

The role is ideally suited to an experience, tertiary qualified marketing professional with 2-4 year's experience in a similar role. 

The primary responsibilities of the role are to develop, implement and maintain marketing strategies across multiple platforms to achieve organisational sales objectives.  The role will report to the General Manager.  

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist in development and implementation of marketing strategies and budgets

• Implement advertising and promotional activities 

• Build brand awareness through digital, print and social media 

• Content management of on-line platforms and social media 

• Event Management

• Coordinate the design and distribution of marketing collateral 

• Report on market trends for existing and future products and customers 

• Build strong relationships through collaboration with our distribution channel partners and their sales force 

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our product portfolio 

• Attend domestic and international trade events 

• Demonstrate leadership and initiative 

Experience/Qualifications required:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing/Business Management 

• 2+ years in a similar role 

• Experience in the health sector is ideal, not mandatory 

• Strategic and analytical thinker focussed on delivering key objectives 

• Experience in a sales focussed environment 

• The ability to work effectively in a small team 

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 

• Creativity and an "obsessive" eye for detail 

• Strong negotiation skills 

• Project management experience 

• Strong IT skills 

• Passion, energy and driven to succeed
