We are seeking an energetic, proactive and eager SEO Executive to join our team at Weboptimizers. The SEO Executive will be responsible for handling a range of client's websites; performing search engine optimisation techniques on them and implementing a digital strategy that aims to improve the ROI of our valued clients.

Reporting to the SEO account manager, you will be proactive in developing, strategizing and executing the SEO campaigns across our clients.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Working on multiple client websites and implementing best-practice SEO techniques

• Execute a range of SEO techniques including competitor research, keyword research, link building, website audits, basic and technical optimisation and data analysis

• Reporting to the SEO account manager and communicating further opportunities to improve client's websites

• Strategizing within a close-knit team to establish innovative SEO techniques that would be beneficial for our clients

• Develop your own SEO skills and learn new ones through industry-related blogs, online learning and your peers

• Liaise with the web development team, sales team and project management team on a regular basis to ensure coordination throughout client campaigns

• Be part of client meetings and effectively communicate with clients to report on your work, results and new strategies

• Excel in the role, be proactive, be willing to develop and achieve targets set out by the company

Skills and experience

• A minimum of 6 months within an SEO role (preferably within a digital agency)

• A degree within a marketing-related subject would be beneficial

• A strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing, and how to effectively implement various SEO techniques on a website

• Experience with popular SEO tools, including keyword research tools, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, keyword tracking tools etc.

• Excellent verbal and handwritten communication skills, as well as a high attention to detail

• Experience with popular content management systems, including Wordpress, Magento etc.

• Ability to learn quickly and play your part in a close-knit team

• An understanding of link building strategies, meta data optimisation, image optimisation and content, and the roles they play in organic search

• Knowledge of other digital marketing techniques, including social media marketing, SEM, email marketing, conversion rate optimisation etc.

• Basic HTML coding skills
