About this Opportunity

As part of a vibrant team, your primary responsibility as Product Analyst will be to undertake timely and accurate research in support of our product offerings. This will include providing insights into profitability, customer needs, competitor benchmarking etc.  

In this diverse and fast paced role, your daily duties will include:

  • Providing information, analysis and advice in relation to industry, emerging market trends, new products, competitor analysis, cost analysis, emerging customer needs.
  • Monitoring and identifying potential growth clients within target sectors and assist the General Manager in developing potential;
  • Sales reporting analysis to determine trends, changes in customer behaviour and opportunities to grow profit or volume;
  • Developing and managing new products in consultation with Sales, Finance and Education Teams;
  • Maintaining forecasting in line with analysis of sales results, consideration to marketing activity or any other known factors in market.
  • Ensuring that processes are communicated and documented in line with any product or education team requirements;
  • Ensure EEA is not financially exposed by any product or service.

Your skills/abilities will include:

·Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field; i.e. Business, Commerce or Marketing;

  • Proven experience in an analytical role;
  • Driven to understand the latest innovations and trends in corporate education;
  • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions;
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills;
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, managing competing priorities in a calm, efficient and effective way;
  • A high level of computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of analytical software, systems data and reporting;
  • Proven business analytics skills, including the ability to interpret data and develop key messages;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with the broader EEA and EA teams, senior management and external stakeholder officials;
  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to multi-task and produce accurate work across multiple and competing deadlines;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently, and collaboratively, in a team environment.
