Social Media Content Creator & Coordinator

Part-time or freelance position.

• Fox Maiden is an established online retailer of some of Australia’s best women's fashion brands like Bec & Bridge, Misha Collection, Nobody Denim.
• Over 7 years, we have established ourselves as one the best leading independent online retailers, with a loyal social media following over 100k (@fox_maiden).
• Now needing a more professional touch to manage all things organic social & photography.
• We also have stand-alone store & photo studio in Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn VIC

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for increasing engagement with our followers & driving website traffic (via organic social media initiatives)
• Assist in setting strategic direction for organic social content to build engaging content
• Daily organic posting on our social media platforms, responding to comments/customer service, reaching out to relevant influencers
• Photography, videos & editing – regular photoshoots featuring our latest looks for our social content
• Organising & preparing edited photos using Dropbox file sharing
• Preparing weekly EDM newsletter to our customer database
• Using analysis tools to asses performance & monthly reporting (Google Analytics and related tools to assess performance of organic social efforts)

Skills & experience

• Proven experience in growing social media channels through use of exceptional content for at least 1 year 
• Experienced in  fashion photography, videography & editing (essential)
• Must have an expert level knowledge in women's Australian fashion (in particular our brands) 
• Plugged into the latest social trends with a deep connection & understanding of our customers
• Must be able to build audience engagement by drawing upon your strong network  
• Excellent knowledge of the customer journey and user experience
• Expert knowledge of social media strategies & metrics including reach, engagement and conversion
• Able to self-manage, be accountable, meet deadlines & multi-task
• Ability to use web analytics software to make informed decisions including experience with Google Analytics
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and customers
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
