The Marketing Lab is a niche agency that specialises in the franchise industry. We work with a number of Australia's most iconic brands, acting as a brand advocate while we support franchisees, and we are growing FAST.

ABOUT YOU:

You are incredibly switched on, dynamic and passionate about marketing. You work hard and understand because our clients don't work 9-5, as a growing agency, neither do we sometimes. 

You are positive and have a natural affinity for building great relationships with people. You have done some marketing already in the real world, maybe for family and friends, maybe as an intern, or maybe you are working in a marketing role for someone else, but you want more and are super keen to dive in head first and learn.

ABOUT THE JOB

The job is challenging and no day will ever be the same!  This role will start out as a hybrid role, supporting the owner of the business and the finance manager, handling admin tasks and helping the team as you learn the marketing ropes. Your goal is that by the end of year you will be working as one of our marketing specialists, and managing clients of your own. Some of your tasks will include:

• Talking to clients, media partners & suppliers
• Preparing strategic and tactical plans
• Market research
• Writing briefs to the design team
• Copywriting & art brief creation 
• Preparing quotes and raising POs
• Paperwork scanning & filing
• Proof reading
• Report writing
• Activation of campaigns
• Liaising with franchise Head Offices
• Excel report creation
• Data Entry 
• Social Media Management
• Answering the phone
• Supporting the owner

ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
