SAE Creative Media institute is looking for a Marketing Officer who is responsible for assisting with the ongoing marketing and profile raising activities that underpin recruitment of new students for SAE Creative Media Institute.

The Marketing Officer will help to ensure that marketing operations and services are conducted in accordance with relevant SAE Institute Pty Ltd (the Institution) policies and procedures with a specific focus on event management at a campus level.

Key Objectives are:

Successfully conduct and develop marketing and promotional activities to improve the profile for the Institute, in conjunction with the national marketing team.

Plan, manage and deliver professional and engaging on-campus events including Open Day and Study For A Day.

Work with the National Manager, Campus Marketing and Brisbane Campus Management to plan, organise and attend promotional events such as school career days and career expos.

Ensure campus social media accounts are engaging and responsive.

Ensure commitment to professional excellence.

Present a professional ‘first point of contact’ and provide a high level of customer service to all the Institute’s existing and future clients, both internal and external.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Post-secondary qualification(s) or equivalent relating to either of the following disciplines highly desirable:
  - Marketing
  - Business Studies
  - Event Management
• Demonstrated strong organisational skills, in particular the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated high level written and interpersonal skills and an ability to negotiate and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Previous event management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated client service orientation.
• Willingness to pursue professional development opportunities;
• Understanding of WH&S, Anti-Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Access and Equity, EEO principles and practices and other relevant legislation;
• Knowledge of or the ability to acquire an understanding of Audio, Film, Multimedia, IT, Graphic Arts and Interactive Media;
